- Implementation of a show-room bakery program: on September 15, LS launched the show room bakery program. This program is designed for any first bakery that will be set up in each US region (North-East, South-East, Central, North-West, South-West) and in any country where LS does not have any bakery yet. Benefits of the show-room status are substantial: 1/ You can take advantage of special prices on equipments (lower prices than the ones posted on the website). 2/ You are advised and followed up in the best way possible since it is also LS interest to always show an attractive and successful bakery to future clients. You get a franchising-type support without the financial burden of it. For instance, our specialists regularly visit show-room bakeries FOR FREE to help maintain product quality and teach new recipes. 3/ In the event of future expansion of your bakery, new equipments will still be sold to you at special prices.
Your only obligation as a show room bakery is to let LS come inside your bakery with potential clients. If the latter comes alone (without any LS representatives), you will be asked to show the bakery on your own. If, following this visit, that person signs a contract with LS, you will get a 2% commission on the total value of the contract.

- Description: Mexicali is a town located at the border between the United States and Mexico. "La Baguette de Mexicali" is an established bakery (a plant and three stores) producing a French and Mexican line of bread, pastries and cakes. The owner decided to focus more its production on French recipes while improving the whole production process. That's why LS first carried out a one-week consulting mission in the bakery for checking, observations and analysis. The equipment layout was reviewed and the need for new or extra machines highlighted. A three-week training program was also defined to improve production methods, keep up quality on existing products and teach new French recipes only made with raw materials available locally. This way, "La Baguette" will propose completely new French pastries and cakes that cannot be found anywhere else in Mexicali.
Throughout this cooperation with LS, "La Baguette" received valuable advice designed to increase sales and improve production efficiency. Some of them were implemented almost instantaneously since they required no financial investment whatsoever. Within a few days, the owner admitted that positive effects coming from this advice could already be noticed on sales levels and net profits. No need to start your bakery from scratch to take advantage of LS expertise...
